• Your magazine will contain ORIGINAL content

• Create your masthead

Starter (5 mins)

Check your design work - put it in order and treasury tag it!

You should have....

• Decided on a magazine type (lesson 1)
• Written a paragraph about your target audience (lesson 2)
• Written a questionnaire for your target audience (lesson 2)
• Collected some magazines of your genre (homework)
• Collected some responses to your questionnaire (homework)
• Created a flat plan for your magazine (lesson 3)
• Created a plan for your content (lesson 3)
• Designed a masthead (lesson 4)
• Designed a Cover (lesson 6)
• Designed 3 further pages of your magazine (lesson 7)

If you have any item on the above list to complete you should do that before you start creating work.

Task (20 mins)

Gather all the assets you need for your front cover (you made a list last lesson!)

Task (25 mins)

Use Photoshop to create your Masthead - remember to refer to your design!

Plenary (10 mins)

Peer assessment - print out your masthead and get a friend to assess it.
Ask them for 2 likes and 2 dislikes - with explanations for each.
